If you have been appointed as an executor in a Will of a deceased person, we can help you obtain a grant of Probate of the Will in the Supreme Court.
A grant of Probate is a Court order proving the Will as the last legally valid Will signed by the deceased person and authorizing you as executor to carry out the instructions which are contained in the Will.
We can prepare the Court documents to lodge with the application for the grant of Probate.
Following the grant of Probate, we can notify the various organisations having a financial interest in the Estate that Probate has been granted and arrange for the assets of the Estate to be distributed to the beneficiaries.
If you are a close relative of a person who has died without leaving a legally valid Will, we can assist you with any application for you to be appointed as administrator of the Estate, and to obtain Letters of Administration from the Court.
A grant of Letters of Administration will authorize you as administrator to distribute the assets of the Estate in accordance with the relevant legal requirements.
